Google recently launched its video chat service as a part of audio chat, similar to one available in Yahoo chat. This can be used inside the google mail interface with a few mouse clicks.

Google chat can be done by simply installing a browser plugin which works in all popular browser. Once you downloaded and installed Google voice and audio chat plugin you need to restart the browser to enable the plugin.

Now login to your gmail using Google ID. In the top right click ‘New! Video chat’ option. In the setting menu select verify your settings under video category. Set the required options and click save.

Once you save the option the video chat will be active for your account. to make video chat select the user in the voice tab in left panel of the gmail interface.
