Generally companies conducts the recruitment drives in the college campus to extract the talented students from the college to work for their firms. Before attending the placement drives the students need to concentrate on the following areas

Aptitude :
Usually the 1st round will be an online or written exam which test your aptitude and reasoning skills. With above mentioned links and books you can prepare for this round. Its my personal experience that most of the companies try to filter the candidates by setting high cut off, sectional cut off and dummy questions.
Most of the people are not aware of dummy question. It is actually a question which cannot be solved or multiple answers or no answer in that particular question option, if one tries to attempt such question they get disqualified automatically. So beware of it. Some companies even have negative marks for every wrong answer. So please know about the companies instruction and criteria before attending the test.
Technical Interview :
As for as Computer people are concerned give preference to C, C++, Java, Unix, Operating System, DBMS, Data Structures, Networks. Usually you can expect more questions from your area of interest, career skills, questions related to projects undertaken, paper presented internship exams, certification. Avoid including too many subjects which encourage the interviewer to test you more.
Remember dude, dont ever say ‘I dont know the answer’ it creates a bad impression on you. Try to answer the question. U can answer like his, ‘I am not sure about…’, ‘I know the basics of it…’, ‘I am open to learn anything…’, ‘I know the concept well, but feel difficult to recall now…’ .
In this round they ask you write some program or algorithm, they provide you sufficient paper, but dont use more than one. Important thing is that do your rough work neatly as possible, since it will be considered in the HR round.
HR :
You can expect any sort of questions here. Remember that you can be asked technical questions in HR and HR questions in Technical round. So please go with the mind set to answer whatever they shot with bold voice and confident. Thats very important. Its my experience that they never expect correct answer every time, instead they check how you respond to the question, how fast you recall and answer, way of delivery, communication skill.

Its all about the dress code,
For male: Should wear a full slack light colored shirt with dark colored pant, shoes with dark colores socks avoid white colored socks. If one prefers can wear a tie matching their dress. Should not have oil on the hair , good shaved and avoid jewelery.
For female: Should wear light colored dress preferably white one with neat footwear, avoid glittering jewels n please avoid flowers and foot chains.
Be bold to face the interview, even bold enough to face the interview result. You may not be selected in some companies, it doesnt mean that you dont deserve to be selected. Take it in the positive sense that better option is waiting for you. Every step gives you a good experience, surely it will help you when your day comes.
